our DynoJet Chassis Dyno, to properly and safely adjust your air/fuel ratio.
 Dyno
Tuning is a must for any modified vehicle, or any stock vehicle seeking
maximum performance. A Dyno Tune changes the operating program on
the vehicle's computer to allow the vehicle to perform to it's full
potential. It consists of adjusting the following: idle, timing, part
throttle fuel and air mixture, wide open fuel and air mixture, fan
temperatures, shift points (if necessary), and disabling necessary codes.
XP is the only shop in Oklahoma that is as concerned with drivability as
we are with horsepower. A vehicles street manors and part
throttle behavior is key to making big horsepower. XP's tuning moto is
"if it doesn't run right down low, it won't run right up top".
Mass Air Flow tuning consists of adjusting the values of the lower VE table and
also the Mass Air Flow table.
The Air Flow, or MAF, is a sensor that is in front of the throttle body that measures the amount of air being
fed into the engine. The vehicle's computer references values in
both tables, and adjusts the air/fuel ratio accordingly.
Speed
Density Tuning is for forced induction cars or radical NA cars seeking
maximum horsepower. Speed Density Tuning adjusts the lower and
upper VE tables, and eliminates the MAF table. By doing so we eliminate
any error that the MAF might incur under high air intakes, created by a
radical NA or boosted applications, allowing for perfect air/fuel
ratios. XP Racing is one of the few performance shops in the
nation that offers Speed Density Tuning.
